It's a nice friendly family park...trails,pavilions grills,places for kids to play,frisbee golf.
If you want a great little picnic area or just a place for the kids to run, this is the place!
Love the mtn bike trails! Technical, good flow, well taken care of. Skills park is always fun. Large area, playground, excellent skate park, nice picnic areas, plenty of parking and less than a mile from shopping/grocery/restaurants. About 30min from Roanoke.
The grounds were well kept. Only one broken apparatus. Clean, functional for almost any family (or couple) time activity. Swings, slides, things to climb on, and Frizzbe golf. There is also a small skate park nearby
Took my three Coonhounds here we walked the trails. It was really nice.
It's just all in all a very nice park & very family-orientated.
This beautiful and well maintained park is located directly across from the animal shelter and the Sheriff's Office. The primary paved trail is perfect for people of all ages and abilities. This park also has a series of fitness stations and children's playground equipment that are directly adjacent to the primary walking trail. This park also has numerous hiking trails that split off from the main trail, several covered picnic areas, and an entire disc golf course available for your enjoyment.
They have also a paved blacktop area where if you do not want to walk on uneven ground it is safer and there's places to stop and do exercises.
